AVENGING MY PHOENIX COMICON SCHEDULE

Writing

My schedule for Phoenix ComiCon is up. Click on "m" across the top and it will take you right to my name. Hope to see some of you there!

Everything Else

So. Avengers. All the hype you've heard? SO wrong.

It's even BETTER.

No spoilers, out of deference to those of you who haven't see it yet (are there any of you?), but my favorite line:

"Ma'am, there's only one God, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't look dress like that."

I'm feeling: rushedMy Tony Stark impression
Comments

Yeah...there are a few of us who haven't seen it. Maybe when it comes out on dvd.

I don't usually get to go to movies opening weekend (or any weekends, really), but this was my early Mother's Day gift, since hubby will be out of town on the day of. Otherwise I'd be waiting for it to hit Netflix myself.

That was a great line, and I was a little surprised to hear it.

I was never a huge Cap fan before, but I am now. :)

Oh, yeah, I could totally see Cap saying it (I've been a reader of his comics on and off for several years). I guess I was surprised by the fact that Whedon, an aetheist, and the Hollywood machine in general would put it in. I guess I should have given Joss more credit as a writer for keeping the character true to what he symbolizes.
